The Channel 7 Telethon Trust is a charity that financially supports the medical and social welfare of children and young people and funds research into children’s diseases.
Their two major beneficiaries are Telethon Kids Institute and Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. However, there are many other beneficiaries that share in the proceeds raised throughout the year by the people of Western Australia.
For the past several years, I’ve been involved in the 24hr non-stop fitness challenges started by one of my good friends and colleagues Matt Fuller. The HBF Fitness challenges have raised close to a million dollars since they started in 2000, and it was such a privilege to be a part of the HBF Fitness Challenge for Telethon again this year, keeping the 12 solo riders hydrated and fueled to keep their energy levels up and to help with muscle repair and recovery!
What an amazing physical achievement for the riders and a fabulous result raising $275,000 for Telethon in 2019!
